HOTEL REGULATIONS

We would be very grateful for your cooperation in complying with these regulations, which is aimed to ensure the peace and security of all our guests.

§ 1. SUBJECT OF THE REGULATIONS

1. The Regulations determines the rules of providing services, responsibility and staying on the premises of the Hotel and it is an integral part of the agreement concluded by signing a registration card, as well as by making a reservation or payment of an advance payment or the entire payment for the stay at the Hotel. By making the above-mentioned activities, the Guest confirms that he or she has head and accepts the terms of these Regulations.

2. The Regulations apply to all guests staying at the Wind Hotel.

3. The Regulations are available for reading at the hotel’s reception desk, in every hotel room, as well as on the Hotel’s website: www.windhotel.pl

 

§ 2. HOTEL NIGHT

1. A hotel room is rented for the day. The hotel night lasts from 3 p.m. to 11 a.m. next day.

2. The hotel guest should specify the length of his or her stay and in the lack of such a specification, it is assumed that the room has been rented for one day.

3.  A wish to extend the stay beyond the period determined on the day of arrival should be reported by the hotel guest at the reception desk until 9 a.m. on the day, on which the date of room’s rental expires. The hotel will take into account wishes to extend stay as far as possible.

 

§ 3. RESERVATION AND CHECK-IN

1. The basis for the guest’s check-in is to show the receptionist an identity document with photo and signing the registration card.

2. The guest cannot transfer the room to third persons, even if the period for which he or she paid the due fee has not expired.

3. Persons, who are not checked-in, may stay in a hotel room from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The presence of people, who were not checked-in in the guest’s hotel room after 10 p.m., is tantamount to the consent of the renter to pay for the stay of these persons in his or her room. Additional accommodation of each person will be carried out in accordance with the current rates from the price list available at the Hotel reception.

4. The Hotel may refuse to check-in a Guest, who grossly violated the Regulations during the previous stay, especially by causing damage to hotel property or property of other guests, employees or other people staying at the hotel.

5. The Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the credit card upon check-in or the collect a cash deposit in the amount due for the entire stay.

6. When the Guest resigns from staying in the hotel room during its duration, the Hotel does not return payment for the remaining hotel nights.

 

§ 4. SERVICES

1. The Hotel provides services in accordance with its category and standard. In the case of reservations regarding the quality of services, the Guest is asked to immediately report them to the Reception desk. This allows employees to respond at the appropriate time. In the event of a complaint upon the departure, the Guest waives the right to claim.

2. The Hotel is obliged to provide Guests with:

  1. Conditions for full and unrestricted rest;
  2. Security of stay, including keeping the secret of information about the guest
  3. Professional, polite and efficient service in the scope of provided services
  4. Cleaning the room and performing necessary repairs of devices during the Guest’s absence, and in his or her presence – only when he or she agrees

3. Additionally, upon request of the Guest, the Hotel provides the following services free of charge:

  1. Provision of information related to the stay
  2. Storage of the Guest’s luggage
  3. Wake-up at a certain time

 

§ 5. RESPONSIBILITY OF GUESTS

1. Children under the age of 12 should stay in the Hotel under the constant supervision of their legal guardians. Legal guardians are financially liable for any damage caused as a result of children’s actions.

2. The hotel guest is financially liable for damage and destruction of the hotel’s equipment and technical devices caused by his or her fault or fault of people visiting him or her. The Hotel reserves the right to charge to guest’s credit card for any damage done after departure.

3. The behavior of guests and people using the services of the hotel should not disturb the peaceful stay of other guests. The Hotel may refuse to provide services to a person, who violates this rule.

4. In the event of a breach of these Regulations, the Hotel may refuse to provide services to a person, who violates them. Such a person is obliged to: comply immediately with the hotel’ demands regarding payment for present services, pay for possible damages and leave the hotel.

5. In case of leaving the room, the Guest should carefully close the doors and windows.

6. The Hotel has a statutory right of pledge on items brought by the Guest to the Hotel in case of delay in settling payment for the stay or failure to pay for additional provided services.

7. Due to the fire safety, it is forbidden to use in the hotel rooms heaters, kettles, electric irons and other similar devices that are not room equipment.

8. In the event of an unjustified activation of the fire alarm by breaking the glass of fire alarm system, the Hotel charges a fee in the amount of 500 PLN. When the fire brigade will arrive to the Hotel as a result of the above-mentioned Guest’s activation, the Guest covers all costs related with this arrival, including a fine issued by the commander of the fire brigade, which came to the Hotel as a result of activities provoked by this Guest.

 

§ 6. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HOTEL

1. The hotel’s responsibility for the loss or damage of items brought by the Guest to the hotel is governed by the provisions of the Civil Code. The responsibility of the hotel is limited if these items were not deposited at the Reception desk.

2. The Hotel has the right to refuse the storage of money, securities and valuable items, in particular valuables and items of scientific or artistic value if they threaten security or are too valuable in relation to the size or standard of the hotel or they are too large.

3. The Guest should notify the Hotel’s Reception desk about the occurrence of the damage immediately after its finding.

4. The Hotel shall not be liable for damage and loss a car or other vehicle belonging to the Guest, item left in the Hotel and live animals – regardless of whether these vehicles were parked in the hotel car park or outside the premises.

 

§ 7. RETURN OF LEFT ITEMS

1. Items of personal use left in a hotel room by a Guest will be sent to the address indicated by the Guest, at his or her expense.

2. If the Hotel does not receive such an instruction, the Hotel will store these items for a period of 3 months, and after this period, the Hotel will donate them for charitable purposes or for public use. The Hotel does not store food products and medicine – they will be immediately disposed.

 

§ 8. CURFEW

1. The hotel has a curfew from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.

2. The Hotel reserves the right to organize occasional events, which will also take place at night. 

 

§ 9. ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS

1. The Hotel does not accept the presence of animals inside the building. The Hotel reserves the right to charge the Guest, who did not comply with the above-mentioned provision, with 200 PLN per day of the animal’s stay and the amount, which is equivalent of a stay for 3 days in a given room, if the room is contaminated by an animal.

2. In the hotel’s area, including – in hotel rooms, in accordance with the Act of 8 April 2010 on the amendment to health protection act against negative consequences of smoking of tobacco products and the Act on Central Sanitation Agency (Dz. U. No. 81, item 529) – there is a total ban on smoking cigarettes and tobacco products.

3. Breaking the ban on smoking cigarettes and tobacco products (including e-cigarettes) in a hotel room is tantamount to expressing the consent by the Guest to cover the costs of room’s dearomatization in the amount of 800 PLN.

4. Dangerous materials cannot be stored in hotel rooms – weapons and ammunition, flammable, explosive ad illumination materials.

5. It is forbidden to run the acquisition and door-to-door sales on the Hotel’s premises.

6. It is forbidden to make excessive noise on the Hotel’s premises, causing unpleasant odors and creating situations that disturb, harm or irritate other hotel guests.

7. Guests are not allowed to make any changes to hotel rooms and their equipment, expect for a slight rearrangement of furniture and equipment – not compromising their functionality and security of use.

8. Within the framework of using the Internet service on public data networks, the Guest undertakes not to violate applicable law, especially violate other people’s personal rights, copyrights and promote contents that are not allowed by law. The Guest is obliged in particular to:

  1. Use the Internet service for its intended purpose.
  2. Protect confidential data provided to him by the hotel, in particular – login and password.
  3. Failure to take any actions that could disturb the proper functioning of the Hotel’s infrastructure, as well as activities having negative consequences for other users of telecommunications networks.
  4. Ensure that his or her use of the service does not limit the hotel’s ability to provide the service or monitor the Network and its elements.
